There were two product releases in March. We will keep you up to date on the newly released features here.

Second Table Group

Encourage spontaneous interaction and differentiated exchange in your team

Just share an idea or ask a question - the second table group is also the perfect place for spontaneous interaction. Now you can split up into two table groups, especially in larger or cross-topic teams, in order to exchange ideas even better with the peers relevant to you.

More Features and Updates in March 2023

  • The red telephone receiver: The red telephone receiver indicates that a person is in a call/meeting, even if the appointment is not displayed in bNear. This is the case, for example, for invitations from people outside your own organization. Your avatar is still automatically moved to the focus zone.
  • Improved privacy in the kitchen and table group chat: The contents of the kitchen chat are now only visible to those users who are in the kitchen at the time a message is sent. This prevents potentially sensitive content from reaching the wrong recipients who visit the kitchen at a later time. The same applies to users who use the 'Visit room' function to enter rooms where they are not part of the relevant team.
  • Profile picture for external/guest users: Now you can finally see profile pictures of your guests or external users. Try it out!
